For some people, finding the perfect gift for your loved one can be a difficult task. This Christmas, we at BCA would like to invite you to make an investment in your relationships. If you and your spouse are going through a time of difficulty, are working through a particular issue, or if you simply desire to grow in your already good relationship with one another, we hope that you will consider giving the investment of biblical counseling into your marriage. If you have a friend, a coworker, or someone you love who is struggling, consider helping them with the cost of seeing a biblical counselor. Our rates for counseling are intentionally affordable ($30 per individual per session and $50 for marriage counseling sessions) because we do not want cost to keep people away who have real needs.

In addition to counseling, those who are married or are looking that direction, consider demonstrating your love and commitment to one another with tickets to our six week long BCA Marriage Workshop which begins on February 7th. In this marriage workshop we will work with attending couples through the six commitments which are outlined in Paul Tripp’s book “What Did You Expect?” This book is a helpful resource for marriages that we very much appreciate here at BCA. People often enter into marriages with idealistic expectations of what they should expect from their spouse. In this way, many marriages face disappointment because their spouse fails to live up to those expectations. Tripp takes a step back and helps to identify the source of these desires: the heart. He then works the couple through the six commitments that tangibly move a couple into relationship with one another and with God, helping them work through their desires from Scripture in a God-honoring fashion.

We hope to see you there! In the meantime, we pray that God will be working in and through each of your marriages.
